- 1987: Registar in the 1st Internal Medicine, University of Pisa
- 1992 Research Fellow at the Department of Nephrology, University of Leicester (UK)
- 2002 Assistant Professor of Nephrology, University of Pisa
- 2017 Associate Professor of Nephrology, University of Pisa
- 2019 Full Professor of Nephrology, University of Pisa
He was past-Director of the “post-graduate school of Nephrology”, University of Pisa
Since 2011 he is Director of the Master in “Nutrition and Dietetics in Nephrology”, University of Pisa
The fields of Prof. Cupisti’s scientific research include clinical nephrology, dialysis and transplantation in particular focusing on nutritional aspects.
