Dr. Beddhu is Professor and Diaylsis Research Foundation Presidential Endowed Chair in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. His research focus is on cardiovascular disease, hypertension and nutritional disorders in CKD. He has published more than 150 papers many of which are in high impact journals. His research is funded by the National Institutes of Health, Veterand Administration and industry. He has served in national and international panels and study sections. He is a deeply committed mentor and many of his mentees have become independent investigators.
