Dr. Elizabeth J. Sussman-Dabach is a Registered Dietitian and Professor of Nutrition and Dietetics at California State University, Northridge in Los Angeles, California. Prior to earning her PhD at Arizona State University, she started work as a renal dietitian and has continued her clinical practice for 15 years. Her research focuses on micronutrient deficiencies in people with CKD and those receiving renal replacement therapy. Dr. Sussman-Dabach serves as the publications chair for the Council on Renal Nutrition for the National Kidney Foundation, is on the Medical Advisory Board for the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona, is a reviewer for the Journal of Renal Nutrition, and is a member of both the Publication and Congress Committees for the International Society of Renal Nutrition and Metabolism.
