Christoph Wanner
University of Würzburg
C. Wanner is Prof. of Medicine and chief of the division of Nephrology at the University of Würzburg, Germany. He has written more than 850 manuscripts referenced in pubmed and holds a Hirsch Index of 100 (web of Science). His current research activities are in retarding the progresssion of CKD in Diabetes and Non-Diabetes mellitus patients. He has received awards from the European Renal Association (ERA) and the German Soc Nephrology as well holds a doctor honoris causa from the Charles University of Prague. He is the current President of the ERA.
