I am a transplant nephrologist at the University Hospital of Parma, Italy. 

I am in charge of the long-term follow-up of kidney and pancreas kidney transplant recipients and I did my post-doctoral research on non-invasive immunemonitoring through pre-transplant donor-specific ELISpot and panel reactive T-cells and post-transplant urinary chemokine detection.

I am a board member of the Descartes working group of the European Renal Association.

Main fields of interest: non-invasive immune monitoring, BKV and HHV8- induced neoplasms, crystal nephropathy, donor-quality evaluation.
