Dr Moore is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Renal Nutrition for the National Kidney Foundation and is the Director of Scientific Core for Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. She received a Bachelor degree from Harding University in Dietetics, a Master degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a PhD in Biomedical and Health Sciences from Rutgers University. She is an Associate Professor of Nutrition Research in Surgery for Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. In her role for Houston Methodist Hospital, she oversees the development of investigator-initiated clinical trials and data science for the Department of Surgery and Transplantation.
