Dr. Michelle Wong, MD, MSc, MPH, FRCPC, is a nephrologist, a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, and a clinical researcher at BC Renal. Dr. Wong’s research focuses on complications of chronic kidney disease, including protein-energy wasting, anemia, volume overload, and cardiovascular disease. At BC Renal, she helped to launch a renal nutrition research program with the BC Renal Allied Health Research Collaborative. She is actively engaged with the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) as a member of the Emerging Leaders Program 2021 cohort, the North America and Caribbean Regional Board, and the Kidney Health Professionals Working Group.
