Prof Campbell is a clinical research dietitian, a Board Director of Dietitians Australia and the Director of Healthcare Excellence and Innovation in Australia’s largest Health Service (Metro North Hospital and Health Service). With a career spanning across clinical practice as a clinician, management, research and academia, she has an international track record in nutrition in chronic kidney disease. She has over 150 publications, including 5 Cochrane reviews and has held grants totalling over $5 million as Chief Investigator, leading clinical trials in diet and lifestyle interventions in chronic disease. Her recent work in implementation science addresses high-priority evidence-practice gaps writing guidelines and systematic reviews influencing policy, co-creation and evaluation of interventions, including adoption of technologies to support behaviour change.
