Dr. K S Nayak, MD, DNB, FASN, FRCP: Chief Nephrologist & Head, Dept. of Nephrology and Renal Transplant Program, Virinchi Hospitals, Hyderabad, India; Visiting Scientist at Renal Research Institute, New York.
Dr. Nayak is internationally known for his work on Nutrition in CKD with special interest in Ketoanalogues and Pre-Probiotics. He is also the President of the International Congress of Renal Nutrition and Metabolism in 2024 (ICRNM) being held in Hyderabad, India. Dr. Nayak is a pioneer in the field of Peritoneal Dialysis internationally and is also an internationally acknowledged expert in Telemedicine in Dialysis & Reverse ‘Medical’ Innovation.He has contributed extensively to International Journals such as KI, AJKD, JASN, NDT, Transplantation Proceedings, PDI, Nephrology, American Journal of Gastroenterology, Contributions to Nephrology, Harvard Business Review, etc. and on the editorial board of several international journals including the Journal of Renal Nutrition.
He is a member of the ISRNM International Relations Committee & Congress Committee.
